12 Days of Christmas 2019 *Day 2*

Welcome back to Day 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas Card Tutorials 2019! This card is one of those cards where the photo really doesn't do it justice so be sure to watch the video to see the whole process live in action. If you're stuck for Christmas Card Ideas, come back all month long for tutorials featuring some of the newest products of 2019. If you happened to miss out on Day 1, be sure to check it out here.

In today's tutorial, I show off the incredible Altenew Stencil Classic Pine A ( SBC | ALTN | ELH | SSS ) and B Set( SBC | ALTN | ELH | SSS ). These two stencils are easy to line up and layer to create a beautiful, bold, elegant background. And since these are stencils, you really can have a lot of fun with which medium you use – whether it be inks, tracing, gels, pastes, etc.

This card uses one of my favourite stamp sets ever Big Bold Christmas (On Sale Now!). It creates such a great focal point for your cards and I wanted to cover some of that background so that things didn't look so busy. I added touches of gold using the embossing powder and some frames that I die cut using the Altenew Fine Frames Cover Die ( SBC | ALTN | ELH | SSS ), which I can't seem to stop using these days.

I think this might be a card that I create in bulk this year. I usually pick about 5 Christmas Card designs from the ones I create in these series and create about 10-15 of each of them to send out to family, friends and crafty friends all over the world.
