Welcome back to the 3rd day of the 12 Days of Christmas Card Tutorials 2019. Today I am working with Crafter's Companion Cut and Emboss Folders to create some great 2 for 1 cards. I have never heard of these folders before and I just had to try them when I saw them on the website.
For these cards, I started out with a beautiful blue blend using Suede Shoes Ink( SBC | ELH ), Fiesta Blue Ink ( SBC | ELH ) and All That Jazz Ink( SBC | ELH ). I love the way these blended together even though I was a little unsure at first. I then misted my cardstock to prevent any cracks and ran the panel through the Gemini Jr Die Cutting Machine( SBC | ELH | SSS ) using the Crafter's Companion JOY Gemini Cut And Emboss Folder ( SSS | CRF ) and the Crafter's Companion NOEL Gemini Cut And Emboss Folders( CRF ).
Here are the embossing folders. They actually have die cuts built in to them. The die cuts have foam in the centres so you get a great embossed look and a die cut. I love the versatility. Be sure to run each folder through twice so you get enough pieces to make two cards!
Each one of my folders produced two cards – one more clean and simple and one with a gorgeous background blend. I added plenty of Metallic Silver Pretty Pink Posh Jewels( ELH | SSS ) to spice things up a bit!
