Happy New Year – 2015!

Happy New Year!

Digital Stamp: Happy New Years Eve
2015 has some big things in store for justinehovey.com and I am so happy to have all of you lovely people reading and following and commenting! I have actually been slowly working on my 2015 “resolutions” or “goals” since the beginning of November to test the waters. I decided that cardmaking is truly what brings me great joy and it is time to take things to the next level! In Fall 2014, I joined two design teams – So Suzy Stamps and Jessica Lynn Original. You will see many ideas featuring some really awesome stamp sets from now until Spring when my term is over. I will be posting 2-3 times per month featuring those designs. This helps me stay accountable to my blog and I've made some really great friends!
I have a whole whack of video series ideas that will be coming up over the next few months. In January, you can look forward to the first episodes of Back to Basics Cardmaking which will start next week and Watercolor for Cardmaking. I will be kicking off the Watercolor tutorials with a feature on Simon Says Stamp on January 20th. I am also planning a series that will take a while to film but will be released in October – it combines my two loves: crafting and travelling but that is all I have to say for now! Shhhh!
My goal for 2015 is to stay committed but be realistic. I would love to say that I am going to post 3 times per week, post videos everyday, etc. But I know me and I have to take things one step at a time and keep it fun! I am working full time, going to school and taking three courses this semester, eventually moving to Scotland this year and have my usual responsibilities so I have to be realistic and say I am committed to this blog and to my readers to the best I can. I have already filmed well into February and look forward to bringing you lots of ideas and I'm hoping to stay ahead of the game so when I do find times are too busy or I have craft blog, I have a few weeks already completed so I don't fall behind.
I am remaining a Close to my Heart consultant for the time being and seeing where that leads. It is quite difficult to stay active because I am unable to hold workshops or gatherings due to my temporary employment overseas. Any purchases made by Canadians help me to keep this blog running and purchase new product to show off. Thank you to my wonderful team and customers who keep my on my toes 🙂 You are all appreciated!
For all my readers, I wish you health and happiness for 2015 and all the best this new year. I know this is going to be my best and favourite year yet with cardmaking and I so look forward to it!
Xoxo Justine
