Just popping in quick today with a card tutorial featuring different shaker pockets – six to be exact. Using the new Essentials by Ellen Release, I die cut the Hands die six times onto a square card. I wanted to have all the hands going around in a circle in various colours. I created six pockets but tracing the hands onto my card base and placing foam tape all around them. Today I am pairing up with Michele Ferguson to celebrate the Ellen Hutson’s 12 Tags of Christmas Celebration. Michele and I were challenged to incorporate heat embossing, non-traditional colours and Pretty Pink Posh to create a tag or two. 1. For the first ornament or tag (you could really use it either way), I began by stamping the Caroling Critters stamp in Tuxedo Black Ink using my Misti. Today I’m exploring my favourite background dies that make cardmaking super quick and easy! All of these cards took less than 5 minutes (even the ones with blended backgrounds!) and I created 10 cards to show you how awesome these backgrounds turned out! For these cards, I created two panels using Distress Oxide colours: Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin and Picked Raspberry. I die cut one of them using the Horizontal Cover Up Die and I cut another panel in white. I interchanged the pieces to create two cards. The second…
