2016 was a very successful year for me. I feel very honoured and blessed that so many great people asked me to guest design for them for various events. I wanted to recap those since there is a lot of great content. If you missed out on yesterday’s post on my Top 10 Cards of 2016, you can check that out here.

My very first guest designer post of 2016 was for Inkspirational Challenges. I had won a challenge that previous year and was asked to come back to guest design.
I was very lucky to be able to guest design for Paper Artsy twice in 2016, I showed off some techniques for effective white space and then again for paper piercing. These were really great technique posts that you should check out!
Next up, I guest designed for a video series this summer over at Stamp Nation. Since Stamp Nation is a subscriber-based service, I can’t show off what I created to non-members. However, it is a really good place to find a TON of videos and resources at a low cost.
I was ecstatic when I was asked to be the video designer of the month for Altenew! Altenew is one of my favourite companies and this was a dream of mine for a long time!

Next up was a new stamp company that I had never heard of and I’m so happy to have discovered them! Gerda Steiner Designs is a great company to work with and their stamps are adorable! Not to mention they are super kind and generous. Here are some of the things I designed for them this year:

I was over the moon when Catherine Pooler came back to me after Stamp Nation and asked me to design for the Stamp of Approval kit which I regularly purchase. I designed a few cards using the supplies:
Effie has been particularly generous to me and continues her generosity into 2017 as well. I was the October Guest Designer over at The Ton Stamps. For my first video, I did a video on 5 Ways to Use a Background Stamp. You can see all FIVE cards and the video tutorial here.
Next Up I did a video on clean and simple Christmas Cards. I used a few stamp sets to create some elegant and clean cards.
The last card was a bright and colourful, fun card that used various distress inks to create a rainbow background. Click here for more details.
Another company that I have been admiring for some time is Pink and Main. I designed some Christmas Cards for them during my 12 Days of Christmas Series.
Finally, just before Christmas, I had the chance to participate in Catherine Pooler’s Holiday Wrap-Up Release and I created several projects for pre-Christmas rush and post-Christmas Thank you cards.
