Craftroom Organization 101: Dies

Hi crafters, today I am looking at Die Storage as we are approaching the end of the organization series. I store my dies in two different ways, depending on if they coordinate with a stamp set or not. I sleep coordinating dies in the same pocket at the stamp (in the back) for easy access and so I remember that I actually have the coordinating dies.

The other dies that are “stand-alone” I sort into my Really Useful Box by category. I labelled my dividers and divided my dies into the following categories:
Backgrounds Basic Shapes Blueprints Borders City Things Christmas  Food and Drink Frames Misc Nature and Animals Nesting Dies Sentiments

I store my dies in plastic CD pockets. 90% of my dies fit into these except borders and backgrounds in which I could either just let them hang out of the pocket or store them in stamp storage pockets. I find my dies this way, quickly and easily and I can easily browse through when I need inspiration.

I label my dies by name and company so I know where they are from and where I bought them. Since I make my YouTube tutorials, I need this to be quick, accessible information. See you tomorrow for Mixed Media Storage!
