ALTENEW MIXED MEDIA INK LOVERS BLOG HOP + GIVEAWAY

Welcome to the Mixed Media Inks Blog Hop! These new pigment inks from Altenew are made to stamp on a variety of surfaces – paper, wood and fabric! These are permanent when heat set. I decided to decorate my mask for today’s project. I simply stamped directly on the fabric. The fabric is quite textured and that gives the flowers a bit of a grungy look.

Much better than a plain old white mask and it’s been quite the conversation piece! I think solid stamps are the next thing I’m going to try on the mask!

Giveaway

Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 5 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blogby 8/18/2020 for a chance to win.

Altenew will  also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew Winners Page on 08/21/2020.

The new mixed media inks are available in 8 colours so far and both sets are colour families which are perfect for layering (just like the oval dye inks!)

The mask looks great and its not as if it would take so long that it was a waste for a throwaway item. We decorate seasonal napkins and gift boxes… why not masks. clever….

I’m surprised how well the ink stamped on an item that appears to be textured fabric. That’s a huge selling point.
