Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Daisy Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Today I am creating with the Craft-A-Flower: Daisy Layering Die Set ( ALTN ) and participating in a blog hop celebrating this beautiful set. I don't know about you but I just love all things layering – stamps, dies, stencils, you name it, I love it! So of course, I can't just create one daisy using this set to use as a focal point, I had to create a dozen or so of them.

The Blog Hop begins over on the Altenew Blog

Firstly, I die cut all the pieces of the Craft-A-Flower: Daisy Layering Die Set ( ALTN ). Following the layering guide, I glued them together. Secondly, I laid out all the flowers and leaves on my background and arranged them until I was happy. Next, I glued all the pieces to my background and trimmed the edges. I chose some Nuvo drops in colours similar to the cardstock I used and added those in as well.

Here is a look at all the dies you get in the Craft-A-Flower: Daisy Layering Die Set ( ALTN ). What's great is that you get more than one daisy or leaf. This helped me a lot when putting together a lot at a time because if you want 12 daisies, then you only need to run the dies 6 times through the machine.

Altenew also offers a Craft-a-Flower Daisy Gradient Cardstock Bundle (ALTN) with the dies that includes the gradient cardstock colours. These are small pieces of cardstock that can fit through all die cutting machines – even the Mini Blossom Die Cutting Machine ( ALTN ).

Prizes

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 5 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog for a chance to win. We’ll also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog.

I also love creating cards with no sentiments for my stash. This allows me to grab a card and go for any occasion or if I have a minute, I can quickly add in a sentiment for any occasion. Here in this photo, you can really see the two different daisies close up.

Anytime I have a chance to save a few dollars on dies, I'm happy to sign right up! For example, this Craft-a-Flower Monthly Subscription( ALTN ) gives you $6 off each month if you sign up. You can pause your subscription any time. This ensures that you always get the set, too. It's never out of stock for you 🙂 Not to mention, every month there is a blog hop like this one to help inspire you to use your set.
