Scrapbook.com is raising money for the Australia Red Cross to help with the devastating fires going on in Australia. You can make a $5 donation buy purchasing the new $5 Scrapbook.com Digital Cut File For Australia 15 Cut Files to Benefit Australian Red Cross Society( SBC ) from their website. 100% of the proceeds are going towards the Australian Red Cross.

For just $5 (and helping a worthy cause) you will get 15 digital die cuts that you can use with your electronic die cutting machine. I am personally using my Cricut Maker but any Cricut Machine using Design Space works (also works with Brother Scan n Cut and any machine that allows you to input an SVG or PNG file). I like the fact that this bundle has a few “Australian themed cuts” but also has several sentiments, flowers and butterflies that you can incorporate into your cardmaking at any time.

I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit lazy when it comes to cutting out with my Cricut. I tend to cut most things in white and then use a sponge to add the colour. It saves me from having to cut multiple times with different colours of cardstock and I can change my mind at any time while arranging the pieces.
In this how-to video tutorial, I show you how to use most of the 15 die cuts in cardmaking. Honestly I just basically needed some inks, a Scrapbook.com – Ink Blending Tool ( SBC ) and glue to complete the cards. So supply friendly and easy!

I mentioned in the video that I was having a card time cutting out these intricate dies at such a small size. Quickly I realized that it was my cardstock and not the file or machine's fault. I switch to a different brand of black cardstock and voila! It works!

Remember, you can make digital dies any size! I made this one a scrapbook size at 10 inches long and incorporated only a partial image onto my card. This is really something that comes in handy when your cardstock isn't good with intricate digital dies – cut it bigger and the intricacies go away!

I hope you will all consider donating to a cause in Australia – be it the Red Cross, through this digital cut file or by finding a charity of your own. So many people and animals need our help.
