Welcome to the Spellbinders Just Add Color Blog Hop! Let me tell you these stamps are some kind of wonderful – so detailed that it takes the work out of cardmaking for you. They are a lovely focal point with intricate little dots that really only a cling stamp can do. It's been a while since I worked with cling and I was quite happy to get one of these into my Misti Stamping Tool once again. Today I used the Mandala Blossoms stamp to create this elegant, layered card.
To celebrate this release, we are giving away a $50 gift certificate to 3 lucky blog readers – selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop. Giveaway closes on Sunday, February 24th 11:59 pm EDT. Winners will be announced in the blog hop post the following Monday. Winner is responsible for shipping cost, duties and taxes.
This card is simple, elegant and easy to recreate! There are varying ways to complete this card. I originally started by stamping in Versamark Ink and heat embossing using gold embossing powder. However, I wanted to take things to the next level so I decided to heat emboss the Mandala three times and then cut out various layers of it. I stacked them one on top of the other three times using foam tape before adding the sentiment just underneath the middle layer. I wanted to keep the sentiment very simple since the focal point is the mandala.
