Today I'm celebrating World Cardmaking Day with Scrapbook.com and I created several cards using the new Altenew Washi Tape. They vary in size but they are not your typical washi tape – they are very wide! The ones used the video range from 2.28 inches to 6.89 inches wide by 32 feet. You get a crazy amount of washi! In my video I show you how to use it on backgrounds, to decorate cards and to die cut. Don't forget you can also use it for gift wrapping to match your card!

I created several samples below and you can hear about all the details in the video! The supplies used are listed at the bottom of this post. All supplies (except the birthday die) can be found at Scrapbook.com
Die Cutting Washi Tape

For the first card, I used the Gilded Ombré washi tape to some scrap cardstock and I die cut it using the Thinking of You Die. This allowed me to get two cards from one cut!
Washi Tape Clusters and Backgrounds

For this card, I attached the washi to cardstock again and I simply cut a rectangular background for the first card. The second card, I cut elements out from the washi tape and created a beautiful collage cluster.
Washi Tape Galaxy Background

These washi tapes make super easy galaxy and space backgrounds without all the effort of ink blending or watercoloring. So easy and quick!
