Fun Summer Cards With Beginner to Advanced Techniques

Today I'm on the MFT YouTube channel with these fun, summer-themed cards! You can check out the video tutorial here. I created four different cards using the Sunshine Shaker Die and Full of Sunshine Stamp using different techniques. I tried to keep the colour palette similar in order to make things easier.  VIDEO TUTORIAL HERE

When I create sets of cards, I try to make things using just a few tools and then move onto things with more tools and techniques so there is something for everyone. These cards above use the die, stamp and a few oxide colours – squeezed lemonade, carved pumpkin and abandoned coral.

This card gets more complex with sand embossing powder rays and an ocean scene complete with clouds! I used the Mini Cloud Stencil to create the clouds, some purple tape for the horizon line and salty ocean for the water.

For the most complex card of all, I blended a background just as I did in the first few photos, added form tape and some acetate to form a shaker card and added several sequins and jewels. Shake shake shake!  Supply List
