Layered Stamping + Catherine Pooler Faithful Flutterings

Hi Crafters, today I am comparing the two collections by Catherine Pooler inks for the Zen Doodle Release. I created a set of cards in the Party Collection and the Spa Collection to give you a sense of what the difference is between them. Don't forget to check out Blog Hop Day 1, 2 and 3 in order to get your comments in to win a set of the new 8 colours! I'll be back tomorrow for Day 4 ๐Ÿ™‚

I stamped these three card variations using the same colour combination of ink. This is the party collection which is fun, vibrant and just jumps right off the page! I stamped in Green (Melon Ice, Grass Skirt & Lime Rickey), Pink (It's a Girl, Be Mine and Party Dress) and Blue (Stone Blue, Fiesta Blue and Something Borrowed).

I stamped the same three cards using the Spa Collection. These colours are very rich but more subtle in colour, The colours are so regal! I just love them! I stamped in Pink (Rose Petals, Polished and Peppermint Scrub), Green (Seafoam, Eucalyptus and Spruce) and Blue (Stone Blue,  Skylight and Juniper Mist.

To add a bit of variation, I stamped overtop of the butterflies on this card in versamark ink using the first layer. I added some Wanderlust embossing powder to create some extra glitter!

Sometimes, stamping overtop of images just adds that simple sentiment on the card. I love this sentiment from Winnie the Pooh ๐Ÿ™‚

Another example of stamping simple is adding the sentiment into some white space. I love how the subtle “Hey There” works with this card! It could be used for any occasion!
