Hi Crafters,
today I am taking a look at Pretty Pink Posh's Sparkle Dot Pattern 1 Stamp Set which provides a template to add jewels, Nuvo Drops, Sequins or other things to make fun patterns on your cards. I created some very simple to some more intricate patterns on each of the designs today. By switching up your colour combinations these can easily make great kid's cards, bright and vibrant, clean and simple or classy and elegant. The possibilities are endless.
The key to this is not worrying about perfection. If you look up close, you will see that some of my drops are not event, more flat than others or even are a bit smudged but when looking at it at arms length they look amazing! Remember, usually only you will see the flaws.
The last card had more opaque Nuvo Drops while the rainbow boasts transparent drops in various pretty colours. The Jewel Drops are super fun and I use them so often on my cards.
I know you probably never want to see Christmas Cards until next year but I thought I would show off one of my creations from the holiday season using these drops and the star. By switching colours, you can make these shapes appropriate for any season or occasion.
Sequins are another wonderful way to spice up your cards. I wished this card photographed better and showed it's true beauty because it doesn't even compare. I stuck on individual sequins for a fun flower pattern. Nuvo drops are more time efficient but these look stunning!
Something more simple? A small star with sequins is another great way to show off sequins in half the amount of time as the previous card.
