Winterhaven Stamp of Approval Blog Hop!

Hi Crafters, I am again so lucky to be able to design for Catherine Pooler's Stamp of Approval Winterhaven Collection – this is a Holiday SOA! I love Christmas and making fun projects so today I have three amazing projects for you to recreate when you get your collection in the mail. Today is a part of a blog hop and you have a chance to win the Stamp of Approval Collection each day by commenting on the hops (there will be three in total to give you plenty of inspiration!). If you already purchased a collection and you are chosen as a winner, you will be issued a $100 CP gift certificate.

If you don't know what Stamp of Approval is, it is a quarterly collection of stamps, dies and sometimes other goodies that you can purchase for $97. They will not be released individually for at least six months. You sign up for the waitlist and you will get an email shopping link at 9am EST to shop. They go VERY QUICKLY and sometimes are out of stock before 6pm when released to the public so be sure to get on the waitlist! You also get three days worth of hop inspiration and a PDF guide full of ideas from the Design Team on how to use the collection so don't worry about coming up with ideas! Sometimes when I don't have an an idea, I simply stamp out a bunch of stamps and die cut them. I then use all the pieces in various ways to make scene collages. All three of these projects were born doing just that. I created a collage of poinsettias, berries and leaves and embellished it with some Nuvo drops and an embossed silver sentiment.

For this card I created a subtle winter village being some snowbanks and created another smaller collage on the front. I love how solid these inks stamp!

I embraced messy embossing to look like little flecks of snow on the back of the acetate. I can't wait to hang this on a gift this holiday season! Also, if you're looking for matching cardstock for Catherine's amazing inks, just tap the ink pad directly to paper like I did for the wreath!
