Hi Crafters,
today I am participating in something super fun! Snarktoberfest! One of my good crafty friends Josefine is hosting this fun (and snarky) blog hop! Those who are easily offended, this is probably not the hop for you. Those in need of a Monday morning laugh, you are in the right place!
I have to keep my sentiments rather mild, but I got a chance to use some of my funny favourites from So Suzy Stamps: Common Sense, Sparkle All day and Getting Awkward – you can see all of So Suzy's snarky stamps here. I created a video tutorial showing how to create this card and I went ahead and created multiple designs to show you how you can alter the design to make a variety of cards.
For the first card, I used a soft colour palette of lemon and fog cardstock. I used the floral stencil from Gina K Designs to ink up my background in Versamark ink. I added some clear embossing powder and it create a tone on tone look when melted. I finished off the card with the Common Sense sentiment – a sentiment that is so true!
For this card, I did the same thing as above, except I used Sticky embossing powder and covered it in Rock Candy Glitter which is a coarse glitter for extra texture. I topped it off with the Sparkle All Day sentiment – one of my favourites!
For this last card, I embossed using Silver Pearl which creates a tone on tone look, but when held up to the light, it has a beautiful silver shimmer. I topped it off with the Getting Awkward sentiment – one of my personal favourites.
