Simon Say Stamp STAMPtember Blog Hop!

Hi Crafters, today I am honoured to be a part of the Simon Says Stamp Stamptember blog hop! This is a month long event with all sorts of releases, exclusive stamp sets and kits that will be released all month long. The Simon Says Stamp Blog is the place to go to hear about all the fun festivities. I created TWO videos for today's hop featuring some of the new release stamps that came out yesterday.

GIVEAWAY!!  You have a chance to win a $50 gift certificate at each stop on the hop just by leaving a comment!

I am OBSESSED with this background stamp! I cannot wait to colour this stamp set when I have the chance! My products just arrived a day before the hop, so I went with a simple option of embossing and stamping the background.

The three cards are stamped with black ink, embossed in rose gold ink and for a monochromatic look, embossed in clear ink on grey cardstock.

I used a sentiment from a previous release because I didn't have any from the new release but you can see how easy it is to mix old and new products. I love this “just because” sentiment that can be used for a variety of occasions for all kinds of people in your life.

This stamp surprised me when I opened it because it is so different from other stamps from Simon! Originally, I created this background on white cardstock and it looked kind of lost. Then I had the idea to stamp onto dark cardstock and it looks amazing!

Look at that shimmer! I just love how when held up to the light, it looks so much more vibrant than simply holding it still.
