Bulk Cards using MFT’s Colour Drops Stamp

Hi Crafters, it is a rare occurrence that I am all caught up with my design work and have time to just create using products I've thrown into my “when I have time” pile. Today is one of those days and I am super excited to bring you a fun new video. It is very similar to my 5 Cards 1 Stamp tutorial, however I used the same stamp on the backgrounds only, the sentiments vary between different sets. I set my eye on the My Favorite Things Color Drops Stamp Set ( SSS | MFT ) because I had tons of ideas flowing through my brain on how to create with it. I love very plain and simply stamps that can do so many things!

Solid stamps can be a challenge. They can often look blotchy when stamped, often don't stamp properly so there are two tricks to these – using the MISTI Stamping Tool ( SSS | MFT ) so you can stamp again and again in the same spot or invest in some Catherine Pooler inks that stamps solid images perfectly each time. Combine the two and WOW you are in for a treat!!! For this card, I used the colours Tiki Torch, Tutti Fruity, Party Dress, Flirty Fuchsia, Aquatini and Lime Rickey.

For this design, I managed to squeeze out two cards – one being very clean and simple but equally beautiful. I die cut My Favorite Things Twice the Thanks Die ( SSS | MFT ) directly from the background and used the leftover pieces to create a second card. I die cut it again in Simon Says Stamp Black Cardstock( SSS ) and filled in the background. For this card I used the colours Tiki Torch and Tiara.

This card was very randomly stamped in party dress, pixie dust, lime rickey, tiki torch and tutti fruiti. Paried with the Hello Beautiful Die( SSS | MFT ) in black makes the background truly pop!

I dug out all my blue and teal shades to create this card with all those tiny dot stamps from the set. I used Aquatini, Something Borrowed, All that Jazz, It's a Boy and Fiesta Blue to make this fun background. I paired it with My Favorite Things Grateful For You( SSS | MFT ) Stamp.

This last card using some of the lighter colours from the latest Catherine Ink Release. I used Melon Ice, It's a Boy, Pixie Dust, Bellini and Tiara. I die cut the Big Hugs Die( MFT | SSS ) directly from the background and elevated the pieces using some 3D foam tape.
