Hi Crafters!
Today I am participating in the NEW Simon Says Stamp Release “Cherished“. This release has a little bit of everything – stamps, dies, sequins and detailed stencils! You can view the entire release here! I had so much fun creating a bunch of different cards featuring some very easy techniques that you can see in my video tutorial below. Who doesn't love three quick ideas?
GIVEAWAY! There will be a prize package valued at over $25 given away at each stop along the hop – that's 13 chances to win if you hop along with everyone! Just leave a comment below and the winners will be announced on the Simon Says Stamp Blog on Tuesday.
I was super excited to dive into my box of goodies and immediately wanted to play with the Floral Sparkle Wafer Die! It creates such an elegant floral border along the side of an A2 card! I added the colour with some perfect pearls behind the die cut and topped it off with some elegant Jewel Drops and a sentiment from the Thoughtful Messages Stamp.
Here is a close-up of the shimmer and shine! |
Bold Stamps in basic shapes are such a great staple to add to your collection, the Big Perfect Shapes Set is awesome for creating fun backgrounds – you can go subtle like with White Pigment Ink on coloured cardstock, or bold and vibrant with bright colours on white cardstock. The possibilities are endless!
This Rebecca Lace background stamp is stunning! The details on it are unbelievable. Normally I would emboss and then throw some ink over it, but I wanted to create an elegant card that could be used for an anniversary or wedding day. Instead of embossing in white, which is difficult to see, I embossed using silver pearl which is that perfect blend of white and shine!
Be sure to hop along and see what everyone else created to inspire you!
