Happy International Cardmaking Day!

Hi Crafters, Happy International Cardmaking Day! Today was an odd day – I created just for me using whatever I wanted and played around with the limited supplies I have and came up with some great cards. I found some great festivities over at Stamp Nation that I participated in and I'm happy to say they are going all weekend and I'm hoping to participate in each challenge since there are many prizes available – fingers crossed!  For this card, the theme was “globe” and I used the Simon Says StampYou Matter Background and stamped in The Ton's Rose Quartz ink. Overtop, I stamped the map from the Map Love Stamp from Concord and 9th and I embellished with some twine and Nuvo drops in Bubble Gum and Ivory Seashell.

For this card, the theme was “where you're from” so I created this very Canadian card using a retired stamp set from Close to my Heart called Strong and Free. I used White Blizzard Nuvo drops to embellish this clean and simple card.

For this card, we were supposed to create a card based on the theme “Land” and how our landscape looks. Since Autumn has begun, I stamped in some fall colours: Fossilized Amber, Wild Cherry, Chocolate Brown and Jellybean Green. The stamps I used are Time to Say Thanks from Create a Smile and The Ton Stamps' Brushed Thanks set.
