Craftroom Organization 101: Inks

Hi Crafters,  welcome back to another organization video. If you have missed out on any of the other videos, you can find them all here. I have a tiny little desk space and most of my storage I have prioritized for my stamps, so there is not a lot of room. If you have a big space, I would totally recommend beautiful ink storage from Stamp n Storage and one day I hope to have my storage done my them. But until then, I store my inks like in the video.

I store my inks in three difference places – within arms reach and for the inks I don't use very often, put away in a drawer. How you store your inks depends on your use and what you use the most. I am loving these mini inks since they take up very little space.

These Tim Holtz tins hold my inks for So Suzy Stamps, Altenew and Tim Holtz. They will also fit mini inks from Hero Arts, My Favourite Things and Stampin Up. I love them because they are colour neutral, inexpensive and easy to pull out. For the TH inks I can even store a sponge underneath for blending.

I store these inks by colour – yellow, orange, pink, purple, green, teal, blue, brown, grey, and black. I have each container labelled.

In my top drawer next to where I sit. I store the rest of my full-size Tim Holtz Inks. Since I don't have enough space to store them all flat so they are easy to pick up and go, I store them in colour families. All the purples in one pile, blues in the other. This is the easiest way to find them that I have found so far with the space I have.
See you tomorrow for Paper Storage!
