this week I am over at the AAA Card Challenge for the Maskerade Challenge. You can interpret it any way you want – use the masking technique or use a mask image on your card. Come join us between August 16th – 29th.
I couldn't decide which card I liked better so I thought I would show them both off. Since I am in the middle of moving (and my camera decided to malfunction and stop recording) there is no video this week. Sorry!
InLinkz.com For the first card, I used So Suzy Stamp's Venetian Mask Stamp and sponged it using various distress ink colours – Cracked Pistachio, Abandoned Coral and Squeezed Lemonade and stamped it on the white background. I then stamped the sentiment over-top. A quick and easy 5 minute card that can be attached to a variety of colours of card bases!
For this card, I used an image from Make it Crafty and coloured her using carious Copic Colours. I felt as if the dress and mask her the focus and didn't want to distract those beautiful colours, so I decided to colour her hair grey.
I hope you enjoyed my cards for the challenge – be sure to play along with us 🙂
