2 for 1 Card Techniques – 4 Ways to Double your Card Stash!

In today's video tutorial I am showing you 4 techniques that easily create a second card so you get the most out of your craft time. When we carve out time in our schedule for crafting, it is always so satisfying when we produce results. These are four techniques that will guarantee that feeling!

Technique #1: Black and White Mirror Cards

By stamping the same image in the same spot on black and white cardstock, you can easily re-create this look. The black and white frames around the stamping are optional for an even easier-to-make card.

Technique #2: Alcohol Ink Lift

Alcohol Lift Ink is an automatic way to get to cards because you're lifting the ink of your alcohol ink panel and simply re-stamping onto some white cardstock. This really gets the most use out of your inks without any waste.

Technique #3: Nesting Dies In-lay

This was probably my favourite look and also a happy accident. I had this technique in mind with rectangle dies but since I couldn't find them, I tried it with circle dies. Nesting dies techniques are endless and a great way to add basic shapes to your cardmaking.

Try this technique with any of the dies below for amazing results!

Technique #4: In-Lay Sentiment Technique

This is another technique I used often – just die cut a sentiment out of a inked background or patterned paper and easily get a second card.
