Altenew Build-A-Flower: Bellaroma Hybrid Tea Rose Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Birthday cards are always something I never seem to have enough of in my card stash. I decided to try out a slimline card today. Many people seem to think that creating a slimline card requires extra supplies. However, you definitely don't need anything fancy to make them. Just a different size card base. To begin, I made my card 4 x 9 1/4″.

Using the new Bellaroma Hybrid Tea Rose Stamp, I stamped out three roses for the card using a variety of shades of blue. I also die cut several of the leaves stamped in green. I simply layered them in three areas and added a silver strip of cardstock behind.

You can use whichever combination of colour you like, and I love that Altenew has suggestions in their stamp set guides. They also have plenty of inspiration on their graphics. You can create many different kinds of roses in all colours!
