Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Fashion Monger Dahlia Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Today I'm working with the Fashion Monger Dahlia stamp and created this clean and simple card with just a stamp, a few inks and a blending tool! This stamp is a part of a monthly subscription program. I used two Distress Oxide inks to create the banner of colour – Picked Raspberry and Squeezed Lemonade and masked off the stamp with masking paper.

  1. Great masking technique makes for a very dramatic and beautiful card! Love this newest stamp set for sure!

  2. I find this simple technique refreshing. It is unexpected to me. I have lots to learn. Thanks for sharing your beautiful card.

  3. What a lovely card!! I love the color blocked background for the black and white image.

  4. The bold color stripes makes the stunning Dahlia design stand out as focal point. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Not sure if my previous comment worked, but this is a very cool and modern card, perfect for a notecard!

  6. Newbie here, full of gratitude for your so very helpful videos! They are really helping me get up to speed with my new Cricut Maker/card making obsession. Keep up the wonderful work!
I do have to admit on this one though, while I am normally a huge fan of minimalism… No sentiment? Even a tiny one? The card seems unfinished, especially for one created for a design comparison/competition. To each his or her or their own I suppose.
